I am loving this weather! It has finally cooled down in Orlando, all the humidity has gone and you can almost feel the huge sigh of relief from the whole State that it's finally below 90*.
Sunday we decided to make the most of this beautiful weather and head out for the day. We ended up at a Pumpkin Festival in Bradenton, about 2 hours south of Orlando. We made a quick stop at WaWa and hit the road.
The whole thing was like a huge county fair There were rides, craft booths, food, candy, games, petting zoo and pumpkin patch. I could have spent all morning looking at the craft booths, but the husband was itching for food so we headed over and got the most amazing pulled pork sandwich (I put BBQ sauce on all my food, so I am always down for some BBQ).
Alexis loved the pumpkin patch. This was our first year really doing any holiday themed activities and it was so fun to watch her pick up all the pumpkins and investigate them.
It was a great day, even with the drive down there and back. It was more about spending time together with out any of the distractions at home.
We got back and painted our pumpkins, had some hot chocolate and curled up on the couch.
Here is Alexis today with our pumpkins all dry:
